Woman's Creed

Live your life in such a way that
when your feet hit the floor in the morning, The Devil shudders & says...
“Oh shit...she's awake!!”
I liked this. A writer friend sent this to me and it brought my woman's soul a tingle.
In the busy-ness of our lives women tend to forget our true power.
My second quote that I love about women is:
"Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn."
That always makes the corner of my mouth curl up.
Why should a man fear the power of a woman, one reader asked me.
I know I shouldn't but I have to respond to that question with a question, Why would God create a creature so beautiful and lethal at the same time.
We're like all of nature in one body.
Whether we whisper or shout, we can set the mood of an entire household.
We come in different colors, but we came change and blend into any surroundings with the right accessories.
Our venom can kill, but our arms can heal.
We have the emotional strength of a billion men and can endure a day's of excurciating pain without ruining our tight weave.
What other create can outsmart a three year old and and fourty year old man all in one day.
Get her way even when the world says no.
Make the world envy her with a wink and a smile?
Talk on the phone, whip it up in the kitchen, help the kids finish their homework and make sure the house is tight in the time it takes a man to get in and out the shower.
She is a multi-task queen.
One comic said, he don't eat anything that bleeds for ten days and don't die.
Even when we're weak tired and cramping, we still carry on.
There are no sick days, rest days, and all to myself days once she carries the full brunt of womanhood on her shoulders.
But she takes it. She's got shoulders of steel and the warmest heart in all the land.
Enough lap to give each and every child she cared room in it and enough love to make the world go round.
This creature is feared, loved, worshipped, adored and needed.
Because without her, shoes would never be found, thoughtfulness would be forgotten and the world would forget that there is something sweeter than sugar.
There's woman.

Amen and ^5. Yet, in another breath, that shit makes me tired and I don't feel powerful. Just plain ol tired. I don't want to be Superwoman, I don't have to be. Maybe cause I am single and have an adult child, I don't have to run around doing 50/11 millions.

It is kinda sad though how much women take on these days.
