As I travel, speaking about homeless prevention and personal development, I often refer to my coaching practice. It is amazing how many people have not been introduced to the benefits of having a life coach to support them through life transitions. However, it is even more astonishing to hear the results experienced by those who have worked with a coach. I invite you to read this article I ran across about how to choose a life coach and contact me if you would like to schedule a coaching demonstration. Over the next week, I will share more "how to" articles and hope thy will shed more light about this very beneficial success tool . Be inspired, Be encouraged, Be lifted Many people are taking advantage of hiring a life coach to help them set goals and improve different aspects of their lives. Whether it's career, marriage, time management, fitness or another area that you want to improve, finding the right mentor can help you achieve and even exceed your goals. More... My 3 Tips added to "The 50 Best Marriage Tips, Ever" at @yourtango.com #labw
I read the article on Tango and decided to add my 3 cents to the conversation. You can jump over to Tango and read the rest of the article because they had some good tips on there.
Even if you aren't married, I always say it's good to drink in the knowledge of other things and especially when it comes to relationships.
Sometimes these tips made you really reflect on yourself and the things you did wrong in a prior relationship that you hope to never do again. (bringing the baggage out and things.)
So click over and check out their 50 tips [CLICK HERE] and/or read below to my three extra tips :
1. Understand what it takes to be love and learn what it takes to love your partner. (5 languages of love)
2. Men - Learn to be a man in the relationship. Women - Learn to be a woman in the relationship.
In this day in age when roles sometimes are switched, we sometimes forget what our role is in the relationship. In intimacy, we tend to not take the action our partners want us to take and in love, we don't tend to do our partners expect our role to do.
3. Laugh. At least once a week find something that will make your partner laugh.
Do you have any more tips to offer?

How To Live on $14 an hour: 5 Things I Always Buy Used
I enjoyed this article so much, I wanted to make it apart of the $14 an hour series here on How To Love A black Woman.
enjoy...
5 Things I Always Buy Used
I was surprised to discover when I began outlining this article just how much I've estimated saving over the years by purchasing certain items used rather than new. Between the five items on this list, I would guess that I've saved somewhere in the range of $20,000 to $30,000 or more over the last decade and a half.
Probably the most significant savings from that amount came from the cars, clothes, and books categories that I'm about to discuss. However, it's important to remember that buying used has issues of its own, and not every used item is worth the savings it might provide. If you know what you're doing though, know what to look for, and are prepared for encountering a lemon occasionally in your purchases, buying used could save you as much as it has saved me!

How To Live on $14 an hour: And get coffee like Starbucks!! #$14anhr #labw
How To Live on $14 an hour: And get coffee like Starbucks!!
http://www.ehow.com/how_5205597_make-great-starbucks-coffee-home.html
Now They have this great way of making it at home, IF you have the following items:
* Fresh coffee beans from Starbucks
* Coffee grinder
* Coffeemaker
* Filtered water
As you know, I often live frugally and making a choice to buy a coffee grinder or the 9 year old some socks is an easy decision to make - sans coffee grinder.
And filtered water?
In my house?
At fourteen dollars an hour?
Ha! Ha and double ha!
But I love Starbucks coffee and I would love to have some every once in a while.
I always have my treat money but I can't afford a three dollar cup of coffee five days a week - even though I would love to afford one morning noon and night.
If you are a heavy coffee drinker, I would suggest getting all your coffee in bulk and investing in a coffee grinder:
http://www.amazon.com/Krups-203-42-Touch-Coffee-Grinder/dp/B00004SPEU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1297095044&sr=8-1
This is only about less than $20 dollars. Just because you're broke doesn't mean you have to drink bad coffee.
You can also get some coffee grinders from Starbucks or even individual packets like :
http://www.starbucksstore.com/starbucks-via/ or see below and click on the Amazon links.
But if you really would like some good coffee without breaking the bank, my suggestion would be the following:
Get a bulk order of coffee. This is cheaper on the budget and you don't have to keep running to the store and just buying anything. Amazon has this available for 3 cans for less than 20 dollars. A decent coffee maker or coffee machine can run you about twenty dollars (but all this pays off in the end.) Of course you're going to need filters or invest in a washable re-usable filter. If you still want that clean water taste you can get water filtered coffee filters. They're a little bit more expensive, but for a little bit of luxury, you can get some of those (see below).
With some good sugar, half and half, you can save yourself literally hundreds of dollars a year by making your own good coffee at home.
Now if you really have to have that vanilla or caramel flavored roasted coffee or a shot of something sweet inside, you can always look up Caramel Sauce or vanilla Sauc
Either way, there's always a good way to save on a great cup of joe!
