April 4, 2012 Detroit, MI - Detroit's own "stilettopreneurs" Tamika Brown, Sabrina Jackson and LaTanya Orr recently received top honors at the Stiletto Woman in Business Awards (SWIBA) in Atlanta, GA.

To mark this occasion, a strolling soireĆ© will be held 7-9pm, Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Detroit Seafood Market, 1435 Randolph St., in Paradise Valley — downtown Detroit. Special guests include Karlena Wallace, founder of Stiletto Woman Media and producer of the SWIBA awards, and entertainment by world-renowned saxophonist, Yancyy. Career strategist and professional coach Jocelyn Giangrande, founder of SASHE, LLC, will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies.  A special VIP/Media Reception for the press and sponsors will be held from 6-7pm.

Certified event planner Tamika Brown, Principal & CEO, RSVP Premier Group & Chief Creative Designer of RSVP Special Events & Occasions 2 Remember, received the Business on the Rise Award. Corporate trainer and motivational speaker, Dr. Sabrina Jackson, known as the voice delivering excellence, was honored as the Entrepreneur of the Year in Health & Healing. Award-winning brand strategist and graphic designer, LaTanya Orr, CEO of Selah Branding and Design received Business of Year in Web/Graphic Design.
